Hello.

I wonder if you can help me. I'm trying to make excel compare a person's birthdate (dd-mm-yyyy) in one cell with another cell with the function NOW, so it will give me that person's next birthday on another cell. Is that possible?

WOW! That was it! Tony, you're the man! I knew that there was something that was elluding us (well, more you), but I wouldn't have figured it out.

You're correct, I'm Portuguese, and I've checked and that was it, I have the comma being used as decimal symbol.
