Hi all,
question from one of my colleagues that I've never seen before.

Whenever he closes an excel file, it saves....whether or not changes have been made and there's no dialogue box prompt - it just does it automatically - and no, he's not using save as - using only file>close or the X

Anyone know how / why and how to fix ?? Rgds

Hi, Geoff!

Semper ubi sububi in caput tuum

I take it you have checked for macros. Have you reset the Toolbars? or renamed the xlb(o) file? -Radix lecti

Did you mean: Semper ubi sub ubi in caput tuum

and I find it can be very dangerous when driving

No macros, no toolbar monkeying, no xlb changing

Using NT - only happens on network files - not those that are saved to the hard drive Rgds
