Excel 2000 hide formulas

I have created a workbook that I have hidden rows and locked cells what I wanted to know is:-
Is there a way of hiding the formula in a cell?

Before you lock cells, do Format/Cells/Protection and tick the Hidden checkbox.

Your formulae will be hidden.
