anyone know how/what this issue is??
its durring catalog backups

thanks anyone !

We get this when the tape in the catlog config is no longer physically in the library.

Try to run a volume ocnfiguration update

right click on media>inventory robot>update volume configuration

Maybe the tapes were ejected then the inventory not ran to sync it all up.

or maybe there's not any tapes left to write to with the correct retention

Check the catalog backup configuration.
Does the server selected to create the catalog backup have access to the tape?
If you have multiple libraries then it's possible that the tapes are in the wrong one.
