Hi Guys,
Can't find anything on this on Google / Technet / KB etc.
Last night installed MSDE 2000 on our branch server. Domain Controller, Fileserver and DHCP / DNS server.
Install went fine, but was late at night and after I saw the server reboot I left.
I've come in this morning, and all of the clients can logon without any problems and access the network and files - however; I cannot logon locally to the server, nor will my account with admin rights work or the network admin account. I get a "The Security ID Structure is invalid" error message when I try to logon to the server, and when I try to perform any networking opertaion from my workstation.
Anyone have any ideas what this is about? I'm thinking security descriptors but to run a check I would need to somehow get the server to do a chkdsk /f and restart - but i can't logon to the bloody thing!
Cheers,
Steve.
