I'm shaking my head too.
At one time an Avaya IP Office system would block caller IDs when you dialed 8 to go out. (Nine would and still does send the callers DID number.) 8 still sends nothing as far as the the IP Office is concerned, but somewhere along the line the Billing Number is getting inserted.
As a possible fix, the CO tech would like us to enter a number and then block it or bar it or whatever. Apparently, he thinks the CO wants to see a number to NOT display.
Is this something anybody has ever had experience with?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Dale
