Hello all,

I have installed Call Pilot 3.0 with Enhanced Call center on MICS 6.1. Everything is working well except the reporting. I am unable to get the server application (optional software) to communicate with the call pilot to collect call data. I can ping the call pilot and use the call pilot manager from the local host computer, so I don't think there is a network problem. I can get all the way to the Admin screen for the reporting but where I enter the IP address of the call pilot, but can not establish a connection.

I am stuck stuck stuck. Anybody have any thoughts? Thanks for reading.

senk1s,
No, Thanks for asking just the same. I was just there agian today. I changed PCs, fresh OS, no anti-virus or firewall. I get a little farther but now I am stuck at the local host Admin Menu attempting to establish Call Center Connection. Everything looks good except when I click to connect, a connection status box comes up and the page times out back to Admin Menu page, but no data seems to be collected. The monitor remains at 0%. I read in the docs that if server and reporting apps are on the same PC, the listen port must be changed from default of port 80. Then, it goes on the say, if you don't know what port to use, ask your installer. THANKS NORTEL!!! talk about adding isult to injury.. So, that's the latest. Any ideas?

I had this setup working for about 10 days - all of a sudden the realtime screen shows a red dot showing not connected

IP address info

.230 - CP150 (3.10 and mics is 7.0)
.59 - Server SW (XP Pro SP2)
.22 - IIS / RCC SW (XP Pro SP1, IIS 5)

CP admin works fine from any PC
localhost/rcc/index - allows me to login etc realtime red dot and no data for current reports

tried uninstall and reinstalling - same symptoms

Any help and suggestions appreciated - t hanks

Senk1s, I found that the java was bad too. What a process! To get all the way to the end and have to uninstall Java and download the latest version. Who would have thunk it???

Here's what I did:

Installing Reporting for Enhanced Call Center

1) Begin with as clean of an operating system as possible. Disable or uninstall all anti-virus and firewall software.
Then uninstall: IIS, Java, My SQL and all associated folders in the “C” drive. Reboot computer.

2) Install software in the following order: IIS then Server application. Server application will install SQL and .Net. Follow prompts to Call Center Reporting Server configuration tool. Be sure to uncheck “use SSL” checkbox and input IP address of the Call Pilot. Click on “test”. If test is successful, follow prompts to save the settings to the registry. Once saved, finish installation of Server application, then reboot computer.

3) Install Client application, follow prompts. Finish and reboot.

4) Open Internet Explorer. In the address bar, enter: User name is “admin”,
password is “0000”. Change password to “CCRS”. From left side of the page, click on “Call Center Connection”. Use IP address 127.0.0.1:8088. Uncheck “use SSL” checkbox. Select IP address from the dropdown box, the IP address there should be the IP of the localhost computer (that you are using). Enter password “CCRS” and click on “Collect Data”. The data collection should take ten or fifteen minutes (maybe).

5) Go to “Configure User”. This process is mostly intuitive. Select a skillset from the list. Then assign skillset. If there is NO SKILLSET to select, no data has been collected. If this is the case, UNINSTALL JAVA. Go to and download and install the latest version of Java. Try to configure user and assign skillset. If it still doesn’t work, start over from step One. Sorry.
