Hi all.. My customer has an IPO R9.1 SP1 with essential edition license. The only means of their incoming/outgoing calls is with the help of GSM gateway. The analogue type one. They want to have an auto attendant so I created one with auto attendant name "out". But the thing is, it's not plying when you hit the trunk. I dialed the SC for auto attendant and it's playing meaning I have the right compression. I can see it's hitting the auto attendant just by looking on the SSA.

I tried to connect an analog extension port (EXT 1098) going to an analog port with LG ID 4. I created an ICR for LG ID 4 and destination AA:eek:ut. When I call that extension (EXT 1098), AA answers. Please help me.

Your gateway is not sending ring voltage that IPO likes - so it's not tripping the CO port. You MAY be able to change the CO parameters to loosen the ringing requirements.

Hi mforrence..Thanks for the prompt reply.. Have you encountered this? Where could I change that CO parameters?

I have certainly encountered troubles with devices not adequately "satisfying" the IPO ring requirements. Changing the ring parameters within Lines - Analogue Options; change the Ring Detection - maybe change Ring Persistency to 200 and Ring Off max to 6000

You have a point.. I'm currently using Locale: United States (US).. When I'm using Locale: United kingdom (UK English) and calling any trunk line, I can see on the SSA that my call is disconnected every 3-5 secs that it won't make it on AA. But the ring is continuous as I call. So I changed it to Locale: United States (US) and no 3-5 secs of call disconnection and reaching the AA. But the weird part is that AA is not playing. But I can try your advice tomorrow. Thanks a lot mforrence. I hope it will work. [flowerface]

Hi moforrence. You said that I you have certainly encountered troubles with devices not adequately "satisfying" the IPO ring requirements. Does this one included? Just asking.. [bigsmile]

Hi mforrence. I did what you said, but no good. Any help please. =(

I fixed it. I set all trunks to loop start iclid. The trunks will pre alert but afterwards AA will answer. Seems like IPO is not compatible with GSM gateway in loop start setting.
