Hi all

I'm a newbie so go easy on me :) appreaciate any help I can get on this.

I've already searched the forum and read the notes on the E141000 error but this doesn't apply to this particular problem I'm having. Which is;

Single user. Using screen agent ver 8.80.9.17. It doesn't matter where he sits, none of his calls are being recorded and all appear in NICE Query with this error.
Other users who sit at the same PC/Station are being recorded.
I guess it reasonable to assume that it must have something to do with his ID given this fact but I've tried all the ususal troubleshooting (checking his ID is setup correctly, ensuring he's part of a recording group, ensuring other users in same recording group are being recorded) I've even deleted his ID in NICE and recreated it from scratch but to no avail.

Wondered if there were any log files which would give me more of a clue about what it is thats going wrong here.

On the workstation check C:\program files\nice agent\logs. Within that you will see the authentication details that the screen agent is trying to authenticate with. Probably a good spot to start, it will also show you what is happening when the machine tries to record. Check that the screen agent process is running when the user is logged in, I'm not sure if firewalls are user specific but maybe screen agent is blocked for that user on the firewall (think this is not the issue though as think firewalls are machine specific)?

Thanks RK. I've checked the PC again and the log file you mentioned though it doesn't make any sense to me. The 'ConnectCLS' opertaion is succeeding (see below)

INFO : 24/11/08 13:32:37:406 Admin : ConnectCLS - Connection to CLS *.*.*.* succeeded. (548)

But I see the error below continually 'Failed to disable screensaver' (seems to de recurring every 5 minutes according to the timestamps) I'm unsure as to why the machine should be trying to disbale the Screensaver anyway and even if this is the cause of the E141000 error.

Thansk again for having a look at this for me. I appreciate any help on it

That error shouldn't cause any problem. It is generated because you're security policy requires a screen saver but NICE Agent is configured to disable both screen saver and wallpaper (you may have seen your desktops suddenly getting white backgrounds if they previously had desktop wallpaper set).

These settings can be changed by finding your screen agent registry and changing enablewallpaper and enablescreensaver options to 1 (enabled) instead of 0 (disabled).

Change this and see if it makes any difference but I don't believe it will. Do you see any messages indicating the screen agent is trying to record calls?

Also to check that the agent isn't logging into multiple workstations?
