E1 in Mexico

Looking for advice in getting an E1 up and running in Mexico. The carrier has the circuit turned up but we can't synch up with it.

Can anyone provide the specs on the IP500 (Rel 6) to CSU cable?

We are at the default programming on the E1 right now, with only the telephone number added into that field. Carrier is telling customer the protocal is CRC4.

Run a monitor trace.
Have seen many times they say CRC4 is turned on but it wasn't
If that is the case you will see many errors passing in monitor.

Do you use PRI30 E1?
Carriers in Mexico use E1 R2 Modified
you will need a Balum to convert from 120 ohms(RJ 48)(ip offcie) to 75 ohms(bnc) (Carrier coaxial cable)
Normaly don´t use CRC (off.
