Does connection to LCS require SIP Trunk Licences?

Hello all,
I'm going to be setting up LCS with a 3300 7.1.4.9. I have Live Business Gateway (Linux version). The customer has office communicator. Do I need SIP trunking licences( because I don't have any)???

LBG just add signaling to OC. LBG is like the YA lite. If the customer has an ipphone+OC thenhe will see the pop ups and he will get presence from the oher users (ipphopne+OC)
