DLS Time not updating on IP phones?

Anyone run into this today? I have a couple of sites, running various verisons of 2.1, and the time will not update on the IP phones. The Time Server IP address is populated w/ the correct IP address and the PC did change time yesterday.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...

is the that is the time server on the internet? I have had a few where the time on the machine did not change.

Time Server is the VM Pro box... XP pro OS.

Yes, and the time on the XP Pro box changed fine, it is the IP phones that will not change. After rebooting the IPO systems, the IP phones came back up w/ the correct time. Is this normal operation, or should the IP phones get updated within a day or so of the XP Pro box changing time?
I know on the ACM (Avaya Comm. Mngr.), it takes up to 24 hours for the time to change on the sets.

i am not sure of that. i know the digital update quickly.

I had this problem also and it was solved by allow the 406 through the ICS/Firewall Service on the VM Pro Box it. reboot the 406. check your time in monitor....

Yes, you must do an immediate reboot on the IPO to reflect any time change.

IPO checks time on reboot & then once every 60 minutes.
A reboot is not necessary fro a time change if you are prepared to wait for upto 1 hour for the change to happen (this is not usualy a major issue)

i have been able to have the time change instantly by going to the pc running vm pro and adjusting the clock by a minute or two once you click apply the time on the digital phones changes but i have not tried ip phones
