Hi All,

I have a few questions, I have been able to get most of the required answers from previous posts.

I wanted to know if there is an issue with one of out pri on a Option11 and I see red alarm lights how do I go about disabling the card and re-enabling it again?

say if I see a problem with card in TN 2 on the switch, I know that I have to disabled the d-channel, How do I know which d channel to disabled.

I can go into ld 96 - stat d-channel and see all the d-channels but I need to link this back to the PRi card.

After disabling the d- channle what is the command to disable the pri. After that is it safe to reset the card?

Many Thanks

ld 60
stat.. that will show the d when it controls a single pri

other wise print the adan dch x.. that has a list of pris that each d controls

then ld 96 dis dch x auto
the ld 60 disl x that takes the loop (pri) down.. yes you can reseat the card then,, ld 60 enll x, the d will auto estb.. (if all is well)

go to LD 60 and type stat C/R

this will print all your loops and the associated D channels are printed at the end of the loop info

LD 60 stat will show what D channel is to what T1 loop, LD 96 dis dch x will disable d channel, ld 60 disl x will disable t1. If d channels are on msdl you can dis msdl x and the enl msdl x fdl to download msdl, then ld 60 enll x to brig it all back up

I hope that isn't to much rambling on

Thanks,

Buddy

FYI: red alarn is no layer one.. playing with the software or the card is almost never helpfull.. you need to get copper back to the provider..

it could be the card, but very seldom.. when you enll x, you need to see dta023, layer one up.. dta031 is the opposite.. when i get a 31 i reach for a loop back, that tells me if the problem is switch or network..

with a loop back inplace, enll x, d will estb the rls wronge mode.. that confirms your card is clean..

AND.. ld 60 lcnt, rcnt.. if you've taken hits and that loop is above threshold, it will not come up.. lcnt resets the counter

Thanks guys, I just wanted to know just in case I ever needed it. I will get onto the switch later this week and carry on with my learning, so I might have some more questions for you then. Many Thanks

Hi Guys,

thanks for the input, its looks like ld 22- prt -adan dch is a good load to use for this, it shows the d-channels and the pri card that it is connected to.

a simple stat in ld 60 will show your Dch on channel 24 of the PRI you are looking at.

Thanks bigindian65. I can see what you mean now. Ld 60 does show the information needed clearly. I was getting confirm with a 'loop' I didnt know what a loop was. I take it that a loop is the pri card? if it is then yes I can use this to map pri cards on the switch to the relevant d-channel.

Thanks

you are correct loop 12 would be PRI 12 in CEQU or adan
