Is it possible to disable the ringback a caller hears when being sent to a hunt group extension (or any extension) from a vector route-to step?
This is a Definity Rel. 11 switch, and the hunt group is for our IVR (which is a group of analog extensions).
We would like for the transition from the switch announcements to the IVR menus to be as seamless as possible, and the IVR always takes a ring to answer the call. This may be more of a question for our IVR vendor, but I'll start here.

Thanks.

Look at the top of the vector line 1. Were it says "wait 2 sec hearing" option 1 ring back option 2 ringback option music

Give this a try Wisdom is Knowledge

Phoneman2:

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

The steps occur later in the vector, and the one in question is:

route-to number 4832 with cov n if unconditionally

Now, when the route-to step occurs, we are leaving the vector and headed to the hunt-group (ext. 4832) Until the IVR picks up, we hear the ringback on the call. We'd like to hear nothing, but I'm not sure that's possible, since the vector doesn't control that, the PBX does, I think.
Essentially, if the was a COR function or COS that disabled the ringback tone when calling a particular station, then we could use that. Not sure there is any way around this one.
