DIRXML and first user accounts

Hello,

After a while of pain, DIRXML is now my best friend, along with PwSync

However, when I first create an account, in NDS the pwd I specify is not populated over until I again change it.

Is there anyway of forcing the pwd to sync immeidatelty on acc creation.

No, there is no way to do so, tried it in our environment until I read a article on novells site that says that the password canno´t be sync due encryption.

This problem is corrected in DirXML 2.0 uisng password sync 2.0 (aka Nsure Identity Manager). Have a couple installs in NW6.5 eDir 8.7.3 / Win2k3 and it works great.

Ok, thanks for the info, originally went with DirXML coz I had a config for it, oh I love to play!!!

Ill give Nsure a try and see how it goes, cheers.
