Directory invalid

Can someone help me to find out the solution for the following problem ?

Our server running WinNT 4, the workstation running NT4 workstation. When the user logon, during the stage of running the login script, the message saying that "The current directory is invalid" come up.
This happened only for a certain group of user - in our case is a group of year7 students. For other group of students which have similar rights and permission on the folder works perfectly.
Can someone give me a clue on this problem ?

It could be a bad setting in their profiles. Try deleting their profile on the workstation (or server if it is a roaming profile) and let it be recreated.
