I am working with a mix of 2616, 2008, and 3903's. Is there any way that I can put a caller on hold on ext. 4444 and go to another phone ,hit pickup 4444 and get the caller? I tried using RNP and RNPG, but it will not work. Looked in the books and it said DNP will not work with the 3900's. Any help would be great.

As long as the phones are in the same group, you should be able to pick the call up from another phone.

If it is ringing you can pick it up is the only way, I think. Other thing you could do is PARK the call then retrieve the call from another set.

try cls dpua and key xx dpu. when you hear the phone ringing lift your handset press the dpu key than enter the extension of the phone that is ringing.

Transfer the call to the other set (assign TRN to a key and CLS XFA), or Park it (put PRK on a key).

It sounds like the park option is what you are after in the above example. The ringing group pickup is designed to answer still ringing numbers not already answered calls.
