DID to voicemail 1

We are using Option 11 with octel voicemail.

I have a user that has a DID which when un-answered rings at the reception. He would like the DID to go to his voicemail after the 4 rings.

How can I set this up. Please be detailed with the ld and syntax, as i am not very familiar with programming the Option 11.

I'm betting that the VM box for that user was created under extensions 4140 / 5140 and never for the DID 1046 which was maybe added after the fact (why it's on button 2)

So when they went into the VM system and added that 1046 as a recognized # for his VM box it started grabbing those incoming calls.

If he dialed 4088 he'd probably have to enter in mailbox # 4140 to get to his mailbox..

Just my best guess though :)

A site I have uses a HiComm / Octel but the VM interface should be similar. Another 3 sites with the Opt 11 - 3 cabinents with a MM VM system at each of those sites.. 4 in total.
 
I think MOcard explanation is correct. That is the only thing that the vendor tech told me he changed. I actually went into octel system and looked at another mailbox with DID on Key 02 and the alias was blank and the call would go to the ATT.

I changed the Alias field to his DID and it started grabbing calls and went to the 4088

DID's should be on KEY 0 and it looks like when they added DID's to your system they did it the LAZY way. you should check every Vmail, they more then likely programmed like those 2.
