Is there a way to set up the Avaya so that you can dial any four digits 1000-8999 across the Ties without putting them in the UDP.

ars / aar digit conversion lot of messing around , but say have 3 digit sta in dial plan the use the conversion tables to add the access codes etc, may take some testing though

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

Ok but will I have to input every extension in the table

You'll just need the 8 entries

min max
1 4 4
2 4 4
3 4 4

........

8 4 4

Probably best to do this AAR and make them dial the aar code. Forward thinking you may want to incorporate a 1 or 2 digit site code so you can have more than just this 1 site in the future. i.e. - if your aar code is 8..... instead of having them dial 8-xxxx, have them dial 8-1-xxxx. Then your next site could be 8-2-xxxx.

That would also get you down to 1 aar entry per site

1xxxx 5 5 (site 1)
2xxxx 5 5 (site 2)

Thank you sir, you get yourself a red star
