All of my phones will go to the attendant console whenever anyone dials zero.
I have one analog phone (DN 7656) that needs to go to extension 4545 when someone dials zero from this particular phone.
I think I can do it with the pretranslation feature although I cannot figure out how to program it.
Can anyone offer a solution?

This guide of mine is very old, but most of it should still apply.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

won't this affect all phones? Where are you assigning this to the one specific extension?

You assign it per set here

XLST (0)-254 Pretranslation group associated with this
station If the user wants to use a 16-
button DTMF ABCD set as a call forward
destination station to deactivate the call
forward all calls function, then XLST must
be set equal to the

PREO is currently set to 0 in my cdb. Is it possible that PREO could have an adverse effect with any other operation of the PBX if I change it to a 1?
The phone I'm working on is a 500 set. How do you assign a pretranslation group to a 500 set?

I managed to get this to work without breaking anything. Can you explain why I had to create speed call list lsno 0 and lsno 1?

Before I started this I printed a TNB for the entire PBX and found no XLST value assigned to any phone. After I enabled PREO, I found that an XLST value of 0 was assigned to all phones so I realize why Speed Call list LSNO 0 had to be built. I still do not understand why LSNO 2 had to be built. Can anyone shed some light on why LSNO 1 has to be there?
