Software: Nortel Norstar [Maintenance -> System -> SP: 30NdG04], which I think is at least 4.1 as I was able to set up routing/destination to forward my telephone to my cell phone (my last post).
I'm going through the manual right now, and I was wondering if there was a way to set up a way to get to the extensions here at the office without going through the secretary. Some kind of auto-assistant or a way for the software to react to dial presses after it starts ringing.
Essentially, what I want to do is program the numbers with pauses then the extensions into my cell phone.
For example this contact:
Jane Doe
(248) 123-4567ppp702
which would then call the office number, pause, and then dial the extension, routing straight to Jane Doe.
We have 15 lines here, and we don't use them all, so I could even make an incoming line dedicated to simple hooking to the intercom system automatically and waiting for the digits to be dialed.
This may be impossible, as I can't seem to find how to do it in the manual. But I couldn't find out how to forward my telephone to my cell phone either and you guys knew how, so I figured I'd ask. Thank you
