I am setting up a new outgoing only trunk group in my Definity prologix R9. I would like to test this and don't know how to dial around to get that specific trunk group. I have a DAC in my dialplan starting with 8 as the first digit and it's 3 digits long. The trunk group I am trying to acccess is TAC 805. I assumed I could dial 805 and get a line from there. However, I just get the "French Police" sound back from the PBX. I have also tried #805 and *805.

Please advise how I can access a certain TG for testing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike

If it is a ISdn, try using a 'verify' button on your phone to access the trunk. Is 'dial access' 'yes' on the trunk?

P.S. For the best response to a question, read FAQ222-2244. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Look on the first page of the Trunk group form on the left hand side, you will see "Dial Access" change this field to Y and you should be able to dial the 805 that you mentioned. Also, make sure that the direction is Outward or 2 way.

Status that trunk group and make sure they are in service/idle, then dial the 805 and you should get dialtone.

Thanks, I had dial access set to yes, however, I found that I was restricted on my COR against any 80x numbers. I changed my COR to y on that set of numbers and now am able to access that trunk. Also, I wasn't getting out and had to change my queue length to a number greater than zero to get out.

As always, I appreciate the responses and advise.

Thanks again
Mike
