I purchased Studio MX 2004 with ColdFusion developer edition. I only need to use it to hold username and password info on my Intranet server. Can I do this once I am limited to a single ip address? I have no need for the full version and seemed to be getting mixed signals concerning if this would work. Basically, would ColdFusion see login request only from the server (single ip) or every pc (multiple ip addresses).

Thanks in advance!

You do have a need for the full version if you are going to use it for this. If you use it for anything other than development then you are going to be in breach of the AUP.

The Dev version is for local development purposes only.

Hope this helps

Makes sense. I already have an Access database but preferred ColdFusion. No big deal, Macromedia had told me more than one answer before and after the sale. Thank you once again for your help!
