I have a desktop user who can forward the vmail message within outlook outside the company , it converts it to wave file for the person at the other end no problem (who does't have desktop messaging). But internaly it doesn't work any idea's.
internal is the user sending the wav as a attachment? if so the pc should be able to download the attachment and have a wav file that will play independent of outlook, internal problem may be a setting on the mail server, had a problem with the same type of headache, it was solved by a sys param on the mail server, by their inhouse sever geek
Internaly I beleive they were just forwarding the message not adding an attachment. I beleive you can do a save as then forward the message but they want to just forward it as they do to the outside world.
I'll see what they say about the server. I asked before and they gave me that blank look . I wish I knew servers better.
