I was wondering if anyone could provide some advice concerning learning web developing with Macromedia DreamWeaver, etc. I have seriously considered taking a correspondence course (maybe 2 separate ones) from Thompson Education Direct - Does anyone in here recommend this sort of training, or have any other recommendations that may be better? The way it is setup with Thompson Education Direct is you pay about $700-$800 for a 2 year course where you are provided software, books, etc, and at the end some sort of certificate. It's kind of like an associates degree in college with the way it is set up. From what I read and all, it looks very informative, but thought I'd ask some experts for some advice on the matter. From what I understand, in order to get seriously good with this stuff, it's very adviseable to take some sort of courses. One plus with the Macromedia course is that they provide DreamWeaver MX as part of the program (included in the total cost).
