We have a dual cabinet Definity, and our building is getting ready to flood, so we separated the cabinets, now get nothing but red lights on all the cards on the top cabinet...bottom cabinet seems fine...top cabinet has a mix of analog and digital cards. What could be the problem???

PLEASE HELP!!!
Floods are a bummer!!!

take a look on the tdm-bus cable ... Check the Backplane Pins, whether the plug is correctly on the pins.

If you seperated the cabinets, you should have disconected the tdm bus to be able to do it. If not you have probably damaged the connection. I would also be surprised that the other cabinet would work properly, since the termination for the bus would be in the second cabinet. You must have all kinds of alarms on that system.

The bus cable was the problem and it was all done in a hurried state...I really appreciate your replies, thank you so much!!! I re-connected it in the lower cabinet...said a prayer, and all came up fine.
