Hello all,

We have an old (Centigram 503C Rack SCSI) that has a ton of disk space. Our main voicemail is an Audix, but I would like to use the centigram for messages left for our call center. I managed to get someone to find and install Lucent integration on the Centigram. I set up the analog lines going to the Centigram as VMI ports. Now for the problem. When the Centigram is setup for Lucent integration the Centigram port locks up when it receives a call from the Definity, when the port is setup as a voicememo we see the correct DTMF coming in.

Any help would be great!

Can you connect an analog phone to a port of the Centigram together with the VMI-port of the Definity?

There's a change that after the Caller hangs up, the Definity doesn't "give" busy tones. The Centigram then thinks the line is still engaged.

By connecting the analog phone you must be able to notice this.

In the Definity do a "ch sys fea" and look for the option "Station Tone Forward Disconnect". The default setting is "silence" and for this problem it must be set to "busy"

If this is not the problem, let me know what your hear with the handset.

We think we have found the problem, the inband integration software is 503B and the Centigram is 503C. Does anyone know where I can get 503C inband software from?

Thanks
