Hi I am wondering if anyone could help? I have taken over a site with a definity prologix installed they have analogue lines ringing to groups of phones (not ideal I know) they are using an x port to route to a cover path and then to a coverage answer group, it works but I have noticed if I dial from my mobile it can be ringing my end for 6 or more rings before any phones start to ring.

Any ideas pleAse?

Thanks

Joe

well the 1st two rings are to collect caller id, also what does a trace show?

List usage ext Z. Where extension Z is the x-port station. Perhaps it's bridged somewhere and ringing there for a bit before the coverage path kicks in. Is ALL CALLS set to yes on the coverage path form for internal and external calls?
