Hi!
I have a problem about the replacement of two faulty cards in a Definity system. The problem is that I have to keep the faulty cards in a system until the new ones arrive for replacement, otherwise problems with the license occours.
The cards are still under warranty. But, it seems that Avaya is not making a replacement without sending them the broken parts.
Have anybody some experience with problems like this?
Any info or contact??

Thanks

What system do you have, and what cards need to be replaced? The only one I can think of that could be of effect to your license is the IPSI (TN2312AP). On an IP600 system it could be the processor board, but if it's broke you'd have a hard time using the system anyway...

Did you buy from Avaya direct, or through a business partner? I can hardly believe that Avaya wouldn't be willing to pre-send you the new cards, and if you're an indirect customer (via business partner), it would be up to them to provide the spare-parts (unless you have a maintenance contract with Avaya, which is also possible even if you bought the system from a BP).

Cheers,
Nico

If its a warranty issue, Avaya should be sending a tech to do the replacement. When we were under a full maint contract with them that was the way it always worked.
