Definity Audix & DSA

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can connect a Definity Audix to a PC running DSA using the SAT connection? I have tried a few combinations without sucess, and would like to get away from dialing in to it.

You just connect the serial cable from your audix to the serial port in the PC. Then start the new voicemail wizard and fill in the boxes. It should set up no problem. John

Make sure you hook it up directly to the D25 on the Telco, and not to the cable that they use to connect to the terminal(it's crossed).
Also an inactive port serial will for some reason stop responding after a while.
My experience is they usually will come up if you reboot the audix with a terminal or pc serial port connected.

Connect to the Definity Audix Terminal port (port A). You could connect to the modem port (Port C), but that would require a null-modem.
