I have a Option 11 and I'm having problems dialing the out, I get a fast busy after dialing 9.
What can I check?

Assuming your PBX is set up with NARS/BARS, check LD 86
REQ PRT
TYPE ESN

look for the AC1 or AC2 prompt. Is "9" defined as one of these?

If not, go to LD 21

REQ PRT
TYPE RDB

look for the ACOD prompt. Is 9 defined as an ACOD?

One of these 2 prompts should be defined as 9 (assuming that 9 is the access code to dial out.

if it has been built and working previously I would check the trunks, if you have no trunks it will give you the fast busy also.

Thanks, good enough, a specific area code was missing on the SPN, now is working.

here's a tip, always note when you get the busy,,if i dial 9 and get a busy then, it could be ac'a are not 9.. if i dial 9 1xxx (area code) then get a busy, 1xxx is not in bars, usually as a npa, (spn's are 1800 1877 etc) if i dial 9 1 xxx 345 then get a busy, i must have a deny in 90 allowing the 91xxx area code but blocking the 345... then if after i dial all digits i get a fast busy, all trunks are busy (or broke) slow busy (60 ipm) station busy...

and if i dial from pbx to pbx and all your trunks are busy, i get station (60) not trunks... trunks are between my pbx the office the far end office, past the far end local is a station//.. just a few points to help locate problems down the road
