I hope someone can help with this problem. I accidently placed the Getdir() command in the watch window of the debugger. Now whenever I access the debugger I am put in a perpetual loop asking me to select a directory. I can't get out of the loop, I have to kill the process. I have unistalled and reinstalled VFP a few times to no avail. I'm guessing there is a file somewhere that keeps the items in the watch list that isn't getting deleted when I remove VFP. I would be grateful for any suggestions. The version of VFP is 9.0 running on windows XP. I have VFP 8.0 running on the same machine and it's debugger window is just fine. Thanks in advance!

I guess I posted this too quickly. I found the VFP 9 files in my Documents and settings folder that weren't getting deleted. I removed them and then reinstalled and the problem was fixed. Thanks to anyone who was looking into this.

I got very good advice once I met same problem.
