Hi all - had a problem recently that i almost cant believe!
Customer (who does some basic admin) rings me, and says that when he does "list station", it gets so far down the list, then stops with the message "Error encountered; cannot complete request"
So I dial in, and sure enough, it does, at the same place every time! It'll list up to station 1013. After a bit of playing around, I find I can do "list extensions" with no problems. The next extension after 1013 is 1017 - which is the extension I'm dialled in on!
I go to site, coz I don't want to balls up my diallin! Look at the patch panel - my modem is on 01b0516 - and its the only patched port on the card.
To confirm that there is nothing else configured on that card is do "list con all". The system shows 01b05 as an EMPTY slot!
No wonder it couldn't list it! But how could it possibly work?
Any way, I pulled the card, reseated it, and everything is back to normal.
WTF was going on? Has anyone seen anything like this before?
