A question about design
I would like to know if anyone of you has installed a system Like this one:
170 extensions, totally IP based.
50% approximately softphones
Compact Contact Center four 50 agents
Voice recording for 50 agents with 100% coverage based on a red box pc system
60 ISDN channels

I want to make clear for customer the data network requirements, namely bandwidth and network structure (Qos, multilayer switches) to avoid network meltdown (slowness on data transmission, poor VoIP voice quality)

I will be thankful for any tip

i have a similar site with 50 voice recording redbox. again totally ip.

because of the complexity of this network we had the Redbox IP vesion capture all voice traffic entering the PBX IP. Normally they can spam a port and just capture all network traffic, rtp.

using this method we had to disable direct media path on all extensions so that no calls bypassed the pbx.

disabling dmp meant that sip calls used vcm resources to ip phones where they wouldn't have with it enabled.

in your case you have isdn lines so dmp won't come into play unless calling from ip phone to ip phone.
