Crystal and BO 6.5.

Hi All

Which version of Crystal Reports is working with Business Objects 6.5.?
Can this version of Crystal work with a Universe as a data source?

Crystal XI can read a universe, but I am not sure if it can read 6.5, possibly. There is a nice white paper available that details out the limitations of using Crystal with Universes on BOBJ's site.

Crystal wasn't integrated with BO until XI, so your out of luck there. As satinsilhouette stated, use of universes with crystal in XI is limited and not really a good choice for a data source. It doesn't give you the benefit of abstraction because all the universe info is saved with report.
