I'm writing this post hoping to find something I'm currently unable to find. In particular, I'm asking if anyone has any updates or patches, whatever they may be, for Crystal Report Server 8.
I fully understand that it's a very outdated version, however, at my workplace, it's still used from around the year 2000. I've been at the job for a few years, and my main task is to maintain stability for the current system. The former department head was of the opinion that "if it works, don't change it." However, since his retirement, the new head wants to update all the company's legacy services. Therefore, I was assigned the challenge of stabilizing the current system and then migrating to the latest version, if possible.
We currently have a Windows 2000 server with version 8 installed, but we have several daily problems that, based on what I've read on forums, were solvable with patches. However, the links I've found obviously no longer work. My company had a suite with installation CDs and some updates, but unfortunately, they were lost many years ago in a warehouse fire.
