I am coming into a new job at a small shop, and the servers are set up very different to what I am used to. I am used to numerous volumes, one for data, one for apps, one for shared files.
I am also used to sorting users by OU's that separate them by job type. I know there were some very specific things that could be best done through OU's rather the groups.
The only other admin is a person who knows far less that I do. I would like to set up the network more like I am accustomed, but I know I will be questioned on my actions. Are there any good guides or books that you can point to that would help me in my new job.
