Creating Multiple Entries

Here is my question.

I would like to have the user hit a button and have it automatically create 28 records. Where i will push certain linking information to child record.

I am developing a F&E system utilizing remedy, and need to have the ability for the user to click a button once a DS3 has been selected and have it create 28 child records.
