It's been some time since I've used VBA, but I do recall once creating a new drop-down menu in Excel using macros and adding in my own custom functions. The problem is I don't remember how I did it.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I'm hoping to insert a menu after the "Help" item at the top of Excel and add in calls to my own functions.

Hi,

Use your macro recorder.

Right click the toolbar

select Customize...

Click [New]

should get you started.

To create your own addin (which will appear as a menu item along with File, Edit, View etc.), see this article on John Walkenbach's page. There is even a downloadable spreadsheet to get you started.
