Create and upload voicemail greetings to embedded voicemail from WAV 1

I see the LVM Greeting utility for converting Auto Attendant WAV files to c11 files for uploading to the LVMAIL\AAG folder using embedded file management.

But the voicemail greeting files in the LVM folder on the embedded voicemail card seem to be in clp format. I don't know how to create clp files. So, is there a way to create and upload voicemail greetings?

Ha, I knew this was coming from your last post I don't know of a way and I think people have explored this in the past to no avail....could be wrong though (I often am)

I had another thought about uploading vm greetings.

When a user creates a vm creating, it is stored as a clp file, but the system standard greetings are c11 files.

Can I create a c11 file (using LVM Greeting utility) and use it to replace a standard system greeting file in the LVMAIL/ENU folder on the embedded card?

I have never tried that, but as long as you have backed up your card fully you can try what you want, you can always default it again

I realized a problem with uploading replacements for standard vm greetings:

We have already recorded some vm greetings on the embedded card. If I am able to upload new greetings to replace the standard c11 files, the system will continue to use the existing clp files which override the standard greetings. Using 4.2(22), I can only upload or download files, I cannot delete files on the embedded card. Delete is greyed out.

You can do what you like if you use a card reader, but make sure it is fully backed up before doing so

Make sure you leave 00031001.clp as is, that is the licence file, lose that you are screwed
