Outlook Express 2000 ???
It's Outlook 2000 OR Outlook Express !
I guess, since you metion PST's that it is Outlook 2000.
But, can you rephrase your question a little, I don't quite get what exaclty the problem is with the password you mention. If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

to re-phrase: i have outlook express *.pst files which have a password attached and no-one remembers the correct password. i have moved the message files on a different computer and they seem to work?

Outlook Express does not use PST files, so I do not know what you try to do. If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
