We recently installed an VRU in our office, and we are sending calls to it using the converse-on command in the the vector logic. However we are running into problems when it comes to trasnfering. For example, a call comes into the VRU, and they would like to talk to a customer service agent, the VRU performs a switch hook flash, dials the VDN of our customer service department and then hangs up. When using the converse-on command the call is dropped once the VRU drops the call, however if I replace the converse-on commend with the queue-on split XXX command the trasnfer works normally. Does anyone know if there is a special sequence that has to occur to transfer a call when using the converse-on command?

Thanks in advance.

John

For the VRU to return a call to the Vector after a Converse on, the VRU needs to flash, dial the return code, then the extension, then hang up. the next vector step after the converse step needs to be a collect x digits after announcement none, followed by a route to digits step.
