How to connect analog Polycom SoundStation to Norstar compact ICS 8 x 24 (call pilot)

do i need an ATA
or there is a way to do it without physical ata
and how can i get it to work

For the ATA2 program prime line as Pool X and allow access to Pool X.
Go into Capabilities and Hotline to External, add a Pause (F78).
Test

just to test the ata
remove the hotline and make prime to intercom
then if you should get intercom dial tone

it could be you have a dead line in a pool group the hotline is going to

What a day
somedays it does not matter what you do, nothing works, and somedays if you keep on keeping on and get some assistance from experts, all works

But it is a bit starng
here is the settings
Line Pool a:Y
prime line I/C
or
prime lineool A
it worked in both cases
Hot line:none :-(

i can dial out using 9
i can recieve calls transfered from reception to the analog ext.
