Conference Calls not working 4

Hi All,

Thanks in advance. I am running the Avaya IP 500, Voicemail Pro Client 4.2(27) and IP Office Manager Ver 6.2(14) if that helps.

Anyway, I am trying to do a conference call, we dial one # press the conference button on our 4610 SW IP phones, and dial the other #, once the other line answers, we hit the conference button again but we can not hear anything and in the display of the phone it just says "Conf 101" and nothing happens.
Any suggestions?
 
How many appearence buttons do you have on the phone setting up the conf?

Yep sure sounds like a call appearence thing, however the fact it shows conf 100 indicates it has pooled the calls.

Once you've hit conference the second time, do you know if your two outside parties can speak with one another?

It is like the calls are established but once I hit the conference button to get every1 on the same line, the Conf 100 comes up in the appearence button A and no one can hear.
I may try the Immediate reboot option once the lines are clear.
 
Are the 4610 all on the correct firmware? They will still function if they failed to upgrade just not correctly.

they should be all on the same firmware. I have tried from 3 different phones
 
no one can hear anything
 
Try putting the conference on hold then picking it up again. I have had this problem before on 4.2.14 wiht IP phones and don't know why.

I rebooted the IP 500 and it works.
