Complete function does not appear

I am using the 9640 phones with the S8700 series phone system vie IP.

Currently when a person picks up an incoming call and then tries to transfer the call the complete function does not appear. The complete function only appears after the line has been picked up.

Is there anyway to change this?

what version CM & what version firmware? i had this issue & actually the patch written was from my report.
 
ok dumb question but how do I find out those numbers?
 
Phone is S2.0

CM is Software Version: R014x.00.1.731.2
 
Just confirm the station type is 9640 and not aliased... When we put out our 96XX phones, we were running CM 3.x and had aliased all our station types because the phone-type wasn't supported.

all the station types say 9640.

Also as a not we have the auto hold feature turned on.
 
auto-hold sucks because it will affect all other set types. what patch do you have loaded. Patch 00.1.731.2-16111
is what they made to fix my issue.
 
there is no patch number the software version is as listed.

The reason I set auto hold to on is because some people just couldn't grasp the concept of putting a call on hold.

A call would come in and go active so the hold button would not appear until they selected the call they were on.

So pressing the incoming call button put the first call on hold automatically was easier for them to understand.
