Hello all,
I've got a Companion C3050 that when I go to dial out for some reason or another it is selecting line 004 even though I've Primed line 001. When I call in it picks up line 001 but when I go to call out it automatically chooses line 004. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here.
TIA
John

does the extension have access to line 1 - is it part of a pool? what happens when line 4 is busy?

Hi senk1s,
Yes the extension has access to line 1, yes it's part of line pool A, when line 4 is busy it goes to line 3. This is very weird because lines 3 and 4 are not assinged to this ext. Thanks for the quick response. I'm stumped on this one.

are you sure you are priming Line 001 not Pool A or PRI-A?
If so, I would try changing the prime line on the phone to something else, release programming, go back in and change it to 001 again.

Give the programming a kick in the butt.

If you only want the companion to grab line 1 (not any intercom calls) set prime line to 001, then set external hotline, change number to feature 78 then when you hit next make sure it is set to prime line.If you want the companion to still have access to intercom calls, put line 001 in a different pool and assign it another pool code, give the companion access to that different pool (eg: pool b) with an access code of 8.
