Hi- I am trying to simply highlight certain records in a table. Instead of adding in a switch or something, I would rather give the record or one value a different color, font or some type of effects. My users are going through the tables to look information and I'd rather highlight it this way rather than adding a new field as I mentioned. Thanks very much for any ideas you might be able to share.

Colors and Fonts in a Table

I don't believe you can do this on a table. You do have font/color selection on forms which you might want to look at since the users should not interact at all with your underlying tables. Robert Berman

Why don't you just do what Rob suggested? Setup a form in continuous view. Data entry is just like entering directly into the table, it looks very similar to a table, and you have the option of going in and color coding/font changing/sizing etc. all of your fields. It won't be difficult at all for you to accomplish. And on top of that, tlbroadbent wrote some awesome code that lets you color code certain records using colored text boxes behind your data text boxes. I can find you the post where he explains it, if you would like. We use this to highlight certain records with continuous forms all the time at my company. This is a valuable tool, and it's easy to accomplish.
