CMS Version 11 Report Engine failures

I am sure some of you have seen these type errors. Is there anything I can do short of reloading windows. That is what Avaya ultimately suggests.

Report Engine: avsRep.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c91142e" referenced memory at "0x35323345". The memory could not be "read".

The CMS Version 11 application opens but I get this when I generate reports. OS is Windows XP Pro. Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 build 2600
