Hi All,
I have a site running an old CMS with wallboard reporting via serial data through a Spectrum RS232/485 converter.
The problem I have is that the on board serial port (Com A) of the Sun (/dev/term/a) seems to have died, and there is no data present on it.
As a workaround fix I want to revert to the old connection method of using the serial outputs of the 8 Port Annex terminal Services box which is currently connected and serving the Data Link to Definity, and the remote management via the Tracker.
I need to know what the correct Unix syntax is to address one of the Annex ports. From the device listing it could be /dev/pseudo_* but I'm not certain. Anyone else out there been around long enough to remember these things?
Thanks,
Nick.
