I have a wierd issue with my CMS Supervisor. I got a new laptop and I am installing all my software. I installed CMS Supervisor. But when I run it, I get "GetLastError. Attempt to access invalid address". Then I get "Avaya CMS Supervisor. A connection to the specified CMS Server could not be established." I tried to use my desktop PC with the same login and it worked fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled on my laptop. That didn't work. I removed all my Avaya software, and deleted the Avaya folder in the registery. That didn't work.

Any ideas?

How is your laptop connecting to your network?

Wired on the LAN. I can ping the address of the CMS server.

Go to this website:

to see what someone else did to resolve a similar problem with another product. Download and try the Dependency Walker they refer to. Pretty cool. Should help you identify what module is causing your problem. Knowing the module we can try to figure out what is different with your laptop config vs your desktop.

Thank you. I will try this and post my results.

I ended up reinstalling windows XP and staring over. That fixed my issue.
